IQRA PROJECT
IQRA inspired jewellery beautifully made by Nadia Dajani Jewellery (www.nadiadajani.com), in collaboration with Labour & Love’s IQRA Project (www.labour-and-love.com)*.
The IQRA Project, and thereby Nadia Dajani’s IQRA Collection, looks to celebrate the word “Iqra”, this being the first word spoken to the Prophet (pbuh) by Angel Gabriel from the Quran, meaning “read”. The ability to read is therefore of great important to Muslims, not just to be able to read the Quran, but to gain knowledge and progress. Thus in recognition of the importance of education in all societies, and seeking to contribute to this, proceeds of all sales of the IQRA collection will go towards helping several selected needy educational institutions, both in Jordan and in Pakistan.
By purchasing a piece from the IQRA collection you are helping educate underprivileged Jordanian and Pakistani children, and thereby help them create a better future for themselves.
