By invitation of the RSCN and Mr Chris Johnson, I was delighted to be the designer for the jewels manufactured by the workshops at DANA Reserve as well as WADI MUJEB. This involved working hands on with the ladies to assist with their techniques, to get their products up to standard, as well as create designs that are inspired by the nature around them.
In addition to the design of the jewellery, the main store of WILD JORDAN was rebranded with props made by the RSCN for display of all products, in a more contemporary and visitor friendly manner.
Several collections were produced:
NATURE ADORNED inspired by the leaves and foliage of the indigenous plants in the area of DANA, to include figs, pomegranates, olives.
BASALT Collection, using the basal stones collected from the Azraq Resthouse grounds, which were formed to shapes in the Wadi Mujeb workshop
THE CIRCLE OF LIFE with interlocking circles and hoops, which represent the dependence of all life forms upon each other.
