Lady from Jerash

I was 16, still at school, and visiting Jordan for the summer holidays. Whilst at lunch at a restaurant in Jerash, I took this photograph of a lady with two donkeys. It was for a school project in London and I had to do the negatives and print in the Dark Room....

All these years later, I decided to put it on canvas.
