Our pride and joy: masbaha, or prayer beads, made from hand made green desert stones from Jordan, and Arabic calligraphy, with God is Benevolent and Protecting
فالله خير حافظا
Brush finished silver
Prayer beads are usually in multiples of eleven: so that the 99 names of God can be recited at each bead. Typically, a 'shahed' is placed after the eleventh bead, in order for the Shahada to be recited.
The prayer bead is a piece of jewellery, and in addition is a vehicle for showing gratitute.
