This jewellery collection incorporates stones, such as Malachite, Alabaster and Granite, sourced from the desert of Southern Jordan, that are hand shaped and drilled by a cooperative of ladies in the villages of Qadisiya and Dana, just north of the legendary city of Petra.
This cooperative is trained and supported by the South Company for Construction and Development, a company mandated by HM King Abdullah II to develop long term sustainable socio-economic projects in the south of the Kingdom, such as this, thereby creating job opportunities to the local communities.
In addition, it is our intention is to celebrate the beauty of the stones and to contrast their textures with our delicate silver work, and at the same time to impart as small part of Jordan to stay with us and our friends wherever it is that we go.
